Dolphins!
Grant and crew showed up at the house today just as Mike and I were about to pull out with the boat for a day on the water. We decided to let the Nelson boys (Kevin, Grant, and Jacob) come along for a bit. We launched the boat at the bridge (which had just one parking spot left!), and rode around the island for a while. Before we dropped off the Nelsons at the dock at the end of our road we saw a couple of different schools of dolphins that made the two young ones very happy! We circled around for a few minutes and Grant turned down Kevin's offer to throw him in to swim with the dolphins, but I think Jacob would have taken him up on it.

Joely, That sounds so fun. I'm sure you all enjoyed it! I can't wait to go for a ride around the island soon. I especially can't wait to see you in less than a week!
i love it joel! i have a feeling that in about 2 years, this little carter o' mine will be the newer version of jakey, if his activity level in utero has anything to do with it. ;)

Leah- that is a little bit of a scary thing! I will be surprised if Carter can top Jake! He's got "activity level" pretty well topped out! I am believing that Carter will be more in keeping with Brady and Jackson... lets hope so, it's always a challenge just to keep Jacob safe!
If fate decrees that Carter be... more so, then we will have a great time containing him! Ho ho ho!
