Today is Grant's fifth birthday. Happy birthday to my oldest grandson.Grant will return to Chapel Hill tomorrow for a scheduled chemotherapy. He continues to be a very good patient. His appetite is huge- the prednisone is mostly responsible for that, and his sleeping schedule is not so great. Fortunately, Grant is being a good boy, and trying to rest when his mama and daddy think it's time.
I remember well the day Grant was born! The doctors had told Emily that a little boy was in the "oven" and we were all so so excited about this little one- Eden and Jacy were the only other grandchildren at this time, although Leah and Aly were also expecting their first baby too. Emily had an easy labor, and Grant was just a beautiful little boy!
Love you Grant. You are a super grandson.

Mama - you have having too many grandbabies to keep them straight! Jackson and Zac are a year and a half younger than Grant, so they weren't quite "cooking" yet. When I had Riley (the next year) is when Leah and Aly were both expecting. Regardless, it was a great day when that little boy was born! Happy birthday, Grant!
By the way - I only "look" drunk in this picture! Rest assured that I was completely sober! Sleep deprived - but sober!
