Good morning from the Nelson house. We are gearing up for a fabulous 5th birthday! Because of Grant's low immunity, we aren't having a party, but we are planning something fun for later in the summer when he is feeling better.
Grant and Jacob are excited to help their dad build a seesaw today! Notice that Grant is wearing his construction tool belt!
I am posting a couple of pictures from the week. Grant got to go see Spiderman 3 this week with Uncle Mike. He wore his new black Spidey costume and was thrilled to get to go to El's Drive-In for hotdogs before the show.
We also had a fun Saturday at the ball field. Grant decided that he wasn't going to play, so we were hanging out in the outfield watching. Then, near the end of the game he told me that he thought it was a lot more fun to play than to watch! So - here's a picture of his awesome hit - right in the sweet spot between 3rd and short!
Thanks again for all of your love and support. We are doing great and are looking forward to getting more blood work done tomorrow so we will know more of how he is responding to the chemo.
