Make A Wish!

We were so excited to learn today that Grant's wish with Make A Wish has been granted and we will be heading to Disney World in September! He is just thrilled and we are so happy for him! Hopefully the September hurricanes will stay off-shore and we will have a fun trip!

We've had a busy week..... Is it only Wednesday afternoon? Anyway, the kids have been doing Camp Invention this week. The have had the best time making cool new toys and learning fun new science lessons. I have had the pleasure of teaching music in the afternoons at camp! They have learned their camp cheer and camp song and had a great time singing and dancing! Its been fun....

Eden, our All-Star has been practicing softball every afternoon still. She has a tournament this weekend in G'ville and then will have the district tournament the next week. She is having lots of fun and is making lots of progress with her hitting and throwing. She's playing in the outfield for the tournament, instead of her usual 2nd base, so it took a few practices to get used to her new position. But she's got it now!

We had our t-ball end of season party last night at our friends Rich and Carrie's home. (Many thanks for hosting the swarm of 5,6 & 7 year olds that took over your pool!) We had a great time visiting with all of our friends and watching the kids swim. The kids had a blast!

We will post ball pictures this weekend! Until then....

How Wonderful!!! I'm so excited for all of you, but especially for Grant to be able to do some animation with the Disney animators! I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up with a job.

What did I tell you!?! All the success that Grant will experience in life will be because of the week at Camp "Intervention" ! He has spent three days at camp and ended up with a trip to Disney World. Imagine what is going to be happening Friday after he has spent 5 days? Crazy!

Disney World is the best! I know you must be excited to go there without having to endure an evening of balloon centerpieces, clowns and face painting.

Yay for Grant!!! I know all of you will have a great time!

Disney World, get ready! Grant is certainly a true hero, and I am so glad that he and all of the family will have a few days to just relax and enjoy each other!

Grant has emerged as a very handsome and charming 1st grader. He is going to have a wonderful year, after having a pretty rough kindergarten year... that's in the past now!! Hurrah!!

Love you, my eldest grandson. So far I think that when you leave on your mission about 2021, you will be the first in a string of grandsons who will serve from 2021 to Aly's little Sam- he'll serve from 2027-2029! Wow- and that won't be the end. Fabulous. Have you seen the new rings from church... CTS or Choose To Serve rings. I think I have an idea of a birthday or Christmas present!

Love you all.

I am so glad Grant's wish was granted.
I knew that was what he was wishing for.
September sounds like the perfect time to go.
Wishes really do come true!!!

Let me know when Eden is finished with softball.
Claire just finished.
I would love to get the girls together over the summer.
