'Tis true!

We're coming home!

Aside from the fact that Grant is freaking out about having to have his port de-accessed, its been a fine morning! Hopefully the needle will be out soon and the "mad spell" will see its end.

We are on strict instructions for no visitors for a while, so please call and say hello. Grant will have his counts read again by home health on Monday, and hopefully after that he will be able to venture out in public and say hello to all of his friends and family!

Love to you all!

I am glad to hear your counts are on the rise... It's too hot to do much outside anyways... Our thoughts and prayers remain with you. Michael and Kristi are headed up this afternoon and he will be admitted after clinic tomorrow for inpatient chemo this week. They will also be moving forward for plans of the transplant at the beginning of September. Looks like you will miss eachother again....

Emily,
Let us know when Grant is feeling well enough for some of Janet's cheese yeast rolls. She wants to make some but wants to wait until he is rady for them.

Every time I read something you, your mom or a family member has written, it continues to make me believe!!!! You guys are such a STRONG, LOVING SUPPORTIVE family. You are blesed to have each other. I'm so glad to read Grant is doing well. Take Care, Wallers

Hey Rhonda! Thanks for your sweet note. It means so much to know you have endured all of this with Kasey. Sometimes when I look at Grant and he seems so fragile (and bald!) I think about how beautiful Kasey looked this year at Relay! (For those who do not know Kasey- she is a leukemia survivor! Sweet as they come!) So, all of the conditions of treatment will pass, and Grant will gain weight and grow hair, and play hard soon enough.

Please tell Kasey that she is also my hero, as you are too! You've done it- and we can too. See you soon!
